The Teacher/Guru In My Life

Respected principal, teachers and my dear friends,

Today it 5th of September and we have gathered here to talk about the teachers on the occasion of 'Teachers Day '. What do you think about this day? Why should we observe this day? Yes, this is the day when we express our heart felt gratitude for our teachers.

The teacher or the Guru that I am going to speak about today, is none other the Mr Rao Sir, our Mathematics teacher. All of you here will agree that mathematics is not easy subject at all. I remember how terrified I was of the subject. In fact, I lived in mortal fear of mathematics till I reached Std. VIII. When I read a question, my mind would turn blank. And then in Std. VIII, Rao Sir came into my life and mathematics suddenly became easy to understand. Rao Sir understood my four of the subject instantly and like a father, he guided me through the various chapters, giving me special attention Wherever necessary. Sir had a special quality - he immediately understood our difficulties without our even having to express them. He made mathematins a far subject not only for me but for everyone in the class. We began waiting eagerly for mathematics periods. something that had never happened before.

He made us feel that everyone could be good at the subject. His motivating words and teaching inspired me to do my homework regularly. I took extra interest in the subject and achieved highest marks in the subject I am very thankful to you sir!

Thank you!

2. Write a speech to deliver on the occasion of independence Day celebration about the freedom fighters.

Speech on Independence Day – Freedom Fighters

The Freedom Fighters of India

Respected principal, teachers and my dear friends,

Today is 15th August, the Independence Day of our country. Do you know why we celebrate this day with so much joy and pride? Yes, because on this day in 1947, India became free from British rule. But have we ever thought—who gave us this freedom? Who sacrificed their lives for our tomorrow?

The freedom fighters of India are the real heroes of our nation. Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Rani Laxmi Bai, and many others fought bravely. They did not think of themselves; they thought of the whole country. Gandhi Ji taught us the power of non-violence, while Bhagat Singh showed us courage and sacrifice.

What if they had not fought for us? Would we be sitting here in a free country today? Certainly not! It is because of them that we are breathing in freedom. My heart fills with gratitude for their struggle, courage, and love for the motherland.

Let us salute all our freedom fighters and take a pledge to be responsible citizens of this great country.

Jai Hind!

Speech on Teachers’ Day – My Thoughts About My School

My Thoughts About My School

Respected principal, teachers, and my dear friends,

A very happy Teachers’ Day to everyone! On this day, when we express gratitude to our teachers, I would like to share my thoughts about my school.

What is a school? Is it just a place where we learn subjects? No! For me, my school is my second home. It is a place where we learn discipline, friendship, respect, and above all, values that shape our life.

My school has dedicated teachers who always encourage us. They are strict when needed, but they are also like our friends when we need guidance. Isn’t it wonderful to have such people who always want the best for us?

The classrooms, the playground, the library, and even the morning assembly—all these things make my school very special. I feel proud to be a student of this institution. Truly, my school is not just a building of bricks, but a temple of learning and a garden of knowledge.

Thank you, my teachers and my school, for making me what I am today.

4. You have been asked to give a speech on the occasion of environment day about the importance of trees.

Speech on World Environment Day – Importance of Trees

The Importance of Trees

Respected principal, teachers and my dear friends,

Today is 5th June, World Environment Day. We often hear people saying—save trees, plant more trees. But have we ever stopped to think—why are trees so important?

Trees are our best friends. They give us oxygen to breathe, food to eat, shade to rest, and medicines to heal. Can we live without oxygen? Can we survive without food? The answer is a big “No”! Then why are people cutting down trees for their own selfish needs?

If we continue to destroy trees, what will happen to our Earth? It will become a desert. Imagine a world without greenery, without birds, without fruits—would you like to live in such a world?

Friends, trees are life. Let us promise ourselves today that we will protect them, plant more trees, and encourage everyone to do the same. By saving trees,

we are saving our own future.

Thank you!
